Join us for an intimate evening of still life drawing at FORMA. Led by Davy Fiveash, this class invites you to slow down and connect with the forms, textures, and stories behind each sculptural piece.
Each guest will have access to all drawing materias capturing the character of each piece on exhibit in your own expressive style. All materials are provided, and we’ll be serving mocktails, wine, and good company throughout the evening.
Whether you're a seasoned artist or just picking up a pencil, all levels are welcome. Come ready to draw, sip, and see the exhibition through a new lens.
About Davy:
Davy is an artist from southern Georgia whose upbringing in a rural, religious community informs his exploration of identity, belief, and belonging. His multidisciplinary practice spans drawing, painting, collage, fabric arts, and writing. He studied at the University of Northumbria, the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, and earned an MFA from the San Francisco Art Institute. His work has been shown at the Crocker Art Museum, MONCA, and Blue Line Arts. A recipient of the Fred Uhl Ball Memorial Grant, Davy lives in Sacramento with his husband and is a resident artist at Archival Gallery.
