ALMa Design Studio is the work of Alejandra and Luis Magaña — a husband-and-wife team handcrafting ceramic dinnerware, sculptural art, and home décor rooted in pre-Hispanic form.

Every piece begins with our hands and our marriage. We communicate through clay the way we communicate as partners — through commitment, compromise, and collaboration — drawing on our Mexican heritage and our life in California to bridge ancient material traditions with the present. Our dinnerware sets tables at high-end restaurants; our sculptural pieces live as collectible art. Both carry the same intention: not just to occupy a space, but to transform it.
