Welcome to ALMa Design Studio: A Bold New Chapter of Creativity and Connection
At ALMa Design Studio, we’re stepping into a new era—one that’s not just about expanding our business, but about aligning with our true artistic selves. What began as Echeri Ceramics, crafting exquisite handmade dinnerware and ceramic home goods, has transitioned into something far more vibrant, more daring and avantgard. ALMa is where art, design, and passion fuse into a single expression of who we are as artists and partners.
Our pivot from Echeri wasn’t simply a business decision—it was a personal awakening. While Luis thrived in the creative process—immersed in the textures, forms, and the alchemy of ceramics—I found myself pulled in another direction. My days were filled with administrative tasks, learning the complex world of marketing and branding, and managing endless spreadsheets. While necessary, (and while I truly am drawn to the admin side) these responsibilities left little room for the part of me that longed to explore, create, and dream. The world of art and design—my world—was slipping through my fingers.
I realized that my curiosity, my love for design, and my passion for shaping beautiful spaces were being left behind. We’re not getting any younger here. And that realization hit hard. We knew we had to change direction. To grow, to thrive, and to remain true to ourselves as designers, something new had to be born.
Enter ALMa
That’s when ALMa was born—a name that beautifully merges both of ours, and a vision that reflects the unity we craved. ALMa Design Studio isn’t just a rebrand; it’s a reinvention. We needed a space that allowed us to stretch our wings, to dive deeper into our creative passions without losing the heart of what we love. ALMa became the catalyst for rediscovering that connection—both to our art and to each other.

Now, as ALMa Design Studio, we’re no longer confined to just ceramics. We’re crafting a world of artistic design—pieces that bring not only function but joy and beauty to your home. And with our expanded interior design services, we’re taking that artistry to a whole new level. Whether we’re curating the perfect blend of colors and textures or designing a room from the ground up, we’re here to transform spaces into reflections of personal style—spaces that feel alive, warm, and full of soul.

Design forces me to look at myself for who I am. It makes me want to stop running away from being myself, to face the fullness of my identity. Our current gallery is a reflection of us—a living self-portrait painted with the vibrant hues that speak to our souls. Fuchsia, chartreuse, pink, and ultramarine blue swirl together to create a space that feels like a warm embrace, a bold celebration of coming home to ourselves. It’s a love note to the world, reminding us that what we offer—our art, our vision—is more than enough.
In creating this gallery, we’ve given ourselves permission to be seen, fully and authentically. This is ALMa—where art, design, and empowerment come together, not just for us, but for everyone who steps into this world we’ve created.
